Great Fun! Our First Family Quiz Night

Nearly 80 people, from toddlers to 80+, braved the torrential rain to attend the First Family Quiz Night on 7th February to kickstart the fundraising for the new Shop building.  The Hall had been fantastically decorated on a quizzical theme and there was a real buzz about the evening, which only quietened down when everyone was listening to the questions or whispering the answers!   The questions were presented with charm and humour by Wendy and Jan, the fish finger sandwiches and hot dogs were so popular they were in danger of running out and a grand total of £616 was banked in the Building Fund!  Look out for the next one in the autumn!

More fun fundraising events are planned including a Wine Tasting and a Christmas Extravaganza!
